Air Force Trailblazer Jeannie Leavitt to Deliver UT Commencement Address
Retired Maj. Gen. Jeannie M. Leavitt, the U.S. Air Force’s first female fighter pilot and a 1990 aerospace engineering graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, will deliver the keynote address at UT’s 141st Spring Commencement on May 11.
Karen Willcox Winner of the 2024 Theodore von Kármán Prize
Karen Willcox, a professor of aerospace engineering and engineering mechanics and the director of the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin, has won the 2024 Theodore von Kármán Prize from the Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM).
